Terms of service.

Last updated · 25 May 2026 · v1.0

1 · Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of (a) the website at lawmcp.ai (the "Site") and (b) the LawMCP service made available through the Model Context Protocol at mcp.lawmcp.ai and any related interfaces (the "Service"). By using the Site or the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service is provided by wedomagic srl, an Italian company with registered office at Vicolo Gumer 9, 39100 Bolzano, VAT IT03261830214 ("LawMCP", "we", "us").

2 · What the Service is

LawMCP provides programmatic access to structured legal data — case law, statutes, regulations, and related materials — and a library of pre-built reasoning "skills" exposed as Model Context Protocol tools. The Service is intended for use by businesses building software products that incorporate legal information, including AI agents and developer tools.

The Service is infrastructure. It is not a legal-research product for end-users, it is not a substitute for legal advice, and outputs returned by the Service must be reviewed by a qualified professional before being relied upon for any decision with legal consequences.

3 · Early access and wait list

The Service is currently in early access. Submitting the wait-list form does not entitle you to access the Service. We onboard partners in waves as capacity scales and as our coverage for each jurisdiction reaches production quality. We may decline any request to join the wait list at our sole discretion.

4 · Your account and credentials

When we grant you access to the Service, we will issue you one or more credentials (API keys or equivalent). You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity carried out with them. Notify us at security@lawmcp.ai immediately if you suspect a credential has been compromised.

5 · Acceptable use

You may not, and you may not permit any third party to:

6 · Intellectual property

The Service, including the corpus structure, ontology, skill definitions, and software, is owned by LawMCP and protected by intellectual-property law. The underlying primary legal sources (court rulings, statutes, regulations) remain in the public domain and are not owned by LawMCP — but the structure, normalisation, citation graph, and processed form in which we deliver them are our protected work product.

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms during the term of your access. You retain ownership of any inputs you send to the Service.

7 · No training on your data

We will not use queries, inputs, or outputs associated with your account to train AI models — ours or any third party's. This is a binding commitment and survives termination of your account.

8 · Fees and billing

Some plans are free; others are paid as described at lawmcp.ai/#pricing or in a written order form. Fees are stated in EUR and exclude applicable taxes (including Italian VAT). We may change pricing on 30 days' notice for new subscription periods; existing committed terms remain at the agreed price for their committed period.

9 · Service level and support

We aim for high availability, but during early access we do not commit to a contractual uptime SLA. From general availability, our Production tier targets a 99.9% monthly uptime SLA. Support is provided by email (community for Developer tier; priority for Production; named contact for Enterprise).

10 · Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or up-to-date for any particular use case.

The legal corpus reflects our best effort to mirror primary sources, but laws and rulings change. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for a decision of legal significance.

11 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will LawMCP be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) EUR 100 or (b) the amount you have paid us under these Terms in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Italian law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12 · Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LawMCP harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damage arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of applicable law, or (c) your use of outputs from the Service in a manner that causes loss to a third party.

13 · Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information with the same care it uses to protect its own, and at minimum a reasonable standard of care. Confidential information includes any non-public technical, commercial, or operational information disclosed in connection with the Service.

14 · Term and termination

These Terms apply from the moment you first access the Site or the Service and continue until terminated. Either party may terminate for any reason on 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate immediately if you materially breach these Terms (including Section 5).

On termination, your right to access the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 16) will survive.

15 · Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes affecting paying customers, we will give 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16 · Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Bolzano, Italy, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your local courts.
